Some of the shots taken at the Singapore Botanical Garden, specifically the Orchid Garden in the Botanical Garden. It costs $5 per entry but it’s pretty worth it. As suspected, the Botanical Garden is a haven for tourists, photographers and/or anyone out for a walk/run. That being said, that doesn’t take anything away from the fact that it is beautiful and most certainly worth a second visit. I hadn’t been there in so long but now now I have an agenda to go back again…photos! Grin. All images captured with the A7r & Leica 50mm Summilux ASPH.
This is called the Margaret Thatcher orchid as in seriously, it is named after her. Pretty beautiful for Britain’s Iron Lady no?
And this was so random I had to shoot it.
The tree of names. Or of abuse. Depends on how you see it I guess.
Anchored leaves aching to fly.
Black Lily.
Beautiful wife pretending the leaves are a wig =)
